The staff at Nick's Computer Works and Mark Thoms started a New Year's Day ride in 2001 to celebrate the "1st ride of the year". It has since grown to over 70 friends all riding together and having lunch. The riders meet at Nick's Computer Works in Barstow, California starting at 9:30am, and all leave together at about 10:15am and ride to Domingo's restaurant in Boron, California. It is a short ride of about 40 miles one way just to start the year off right! The ride is open to anyone that wants to ride or drive along. It does not matter what make or mode of transportation you bring, you just have to want to have fun. Join us for our next one!
