    Nick's 9th Annual New Years Day Ride 01/01/2009
2009 is now among us and what has become an annual tradition is really growing. Each New Years Day, several old friends and several new friends join us in starting the New Year properly. That of course means a motorcycle ride. We meet at my store at about 9am and leave at about 10am. However, some earlybirds jump the gun and leave a little early and don't wait for the pack. HEY YOU GUYS! Wait for the rest of us! Leaving time is a few minutes AFTER 10am, not before!

Ok, so what started out as just two of us has grown to 50 or more! A lot of them I don't know or can't remember their names, but they are all new friends and we will always welcome more. We ride out to Domingo's Mexican Restuarant in Boron, California for an excellent lunch. From there we all ride home separately. The lunch is always great and if you have not been to Domingo's, be sure to go there, they raise the bar in excellence.

Today we were joined by AJ and his crew from the Barstow Christian Motorcycle Club and several other new friends. The Barstow Christion Motorcycle Club puts on many rides and I hope to join them one of these weekends on one of their rides. Welcome everyone!
