From Deadwood we headed back to Rapid City and stopped at Sturgis along the way. Luckily we were there before the rally was to start and although there were 3 or 4 thousand bikers there already, it was not terribly crowded and all the vendors were set up already. We got first choice at all the souvenir stands and the prices were not outrageous. We had a little difficulty finding a place to park both bikes and just wondered what it must be like in a couple of days when the rally was to start and there would be 250,000 bikers! What a nightmare that would be for parking and probably for trying to get souvenirs and food! Sturgis is a must see for all bikers. I think everyone should see it at least once. Next: Fort Collins.
